DE 4002 steam cleaner
A steam cleaner for professional users - the DE 4002. A special feature of this highly mobile steam cleaner is the continuous water feed from a separate water tank which permits long periods of uninterrupted operation.
The total water capacity of boiler and separate tank is 4.6 litres which produce 6.000 litres of steam for 5 hours of continuous cleaning work without having to refill. As the separate tank is not pressurized, it can be topped up with water at any time, i.e. there is no need to wait for the boiler to cool down.
With its extensive standard accessories the DE 4002 steam cleaner can be used for many cleaning operations in kitchens and sanitary facilities, for cleaning hard and resilient floors, windows, fittings and equipment. Hot steam dissolves dirt quickly and effectively, no cleaning chemicals are needed. As both flow rate and moisture of the steam can be infinitely varied, the unit adapts very easily to all sorts of cleaning tasks. There is a wide choice of optional accessories, such as a steam iron or wallpaper stripper, which further extend the steam cleaner's range of applications.
Special attention was paid to the safety characteristics of this steam cleaner. It is splash-proof, the operating current in the control handle is an extra-low 24 V. When the switch is released, steam flow stops instantly (dead-man switch). When the water level is low, optical and acoustic signals remind the user that the steam cleaner needs refilling. In addition, there is an indicator light which goes on when the steam cleaner has to be descaled. The heating system is switched off automatically by a thermal cut-out if there is a risk of overheating. The patented safety cap of the steam boiler cannot be opened while the steam cleaner is under pressure.
The 2.7 metre, extra-long, steam hose enables the operator to use the steam nozzle overhead without having to lift the steam cleaner at the same time. The steam cleaner stands rock steady on two large-diameter wheels and a double caster which make it highly manoeuvrable. Steam nozzles, cloths and other items can be stowed in the integral accessory compartment and are readily at hand when needed.
