SE 4001 spray extraction cleaner
Kärcher's new SE 4001 spray extractor is a highly versatile unit for cleaning carpets, stone floors and synthetic floor coverings. It incorporates three functions: spray extraction, wet and dry vacuuming.
When used as a spray extraction unit, it is particularly suitable for households with small children, allergy sufferers and pets because it cleans deep down into the fibres of carpets, upholstery, mattresses and soft furnishings. The operating principle is simple: A spray nozzle applies cleaning solution to fibres at high pressure, which is then vacuumed away again in a single pass. Thanks to the special design of of the floor tool, the SE 4001 now achieves an even better recovery rate to minimize residual moisture – the floor dries 50% faster for re-use. Drying is further accelerated when the unit is used together with the new RM 519 cleaning agent.
On hard floors, the advantage compared to manual mopping is that the SE 4001 uses only fresh water. This means that the dirt is not distributed but really removed. The unit reliably picks up spilled fluids (including pieces of broken glass) or wood chips and metal shavings. A hand tool is available as a special accessory for cleaning upholstered furniture and car seats.
The SE 4001 features an externally mounted plastic tank, which is easily filled with fresh water without having to open any covers. The tank is protected by the spray extractor’s bump guard and therefore resistant to impact. Furthermore, as the tank is translucent, the user can quickly check the water level at any time. A large handle ensures convenient portability and easy disposal of dirty water.
Those who have a household dust allergy will appreciate the fact that the SE 4001 can also be used in combination with Kärcher’s Mitex carpet cleaning agent to combat mites. The carpet is wet-cleaned once and is then free from mites for up to nine months. see more information on the SE 4001 page.
