Steamer

The steamer or steam cleaner, to use its full title, has become increasingly invaluable to a wide range of domestic, professional and industrial cleaning applications. When compared with the conventional cleaning method of cloth, water and some detergent, a steamer provides greater penetration and superior grease cutting without the need for expensive consumables and potentially toxic chemical agents.

Kärcher offers a domestic steamer model suitable for use in the home, as well as professional one for environments that demand exceptional cleanliness such as hotel or restaurant kitchens and bathrooms. In both situations, the use of a steamer means rapid drying of cleaned areas and no lingering chemical smells to contaminate the environment. The latter is particularly important in areas where food is prepared.

At home, a steamer may resemble a vacuum cleaner in appearance, but has a totally different function. Its use is not merely a guarantee of cleanliness but also an assurance that all treated surfaces are left completely free of viable bacteria, mould, fungi and dust mites due to the sterilising properties of superheated steam at 150°C. The absence of any exhaust from a steamer also ensures that infective particles, dust and potential allergens are not simply transferred from the floor to the air.

One word of warning, however; not every steamer is up to the task. While smaller, flimsy machines may prove a cheaper investment in the short term, they are highly unlikely to survive long-term, repeated use. The larger, more substantial steamer such as can be purchased from Kärcher will not only do a far better job, but will continue to do so for a great deal longer. What else would one expect from a company that has been in business for over 75 years?

By now you will be convinced that nothing gets things cleaner than a steamer so maybe it’s time to put one to work in your home or business and what better way to set the ball rolling than to contact us.
